CAPITOL expands and foresees to start a new activity

Facing in his technological lead to the decision of a judge of Indianapolis, the unit of the CSP group on the old continent Capitol Europe speeds up its development in Niederbronn: 10 million Euros investment, increase of production capacity by 50% and 15 jobs to be created. In a second time, the company foresees to launch a new activity on the site.

Since the purchase of 2 more hectares by the “high tech” group in the industrial park Sandholz, it was known that a project for an extension of the plastic company was foreseen. It is now official: 3000 sqm of building will be built to place injection moulding machines and new production lines.
To the 5 million Euros invested this year, 5 more million will follow in 2007 which should create 15 jobs. From the 84 current employees, the number should pass the 100 barrier not taking into account the temporary jobs.

This year CAPITOL
EUROPE will produce 270 million vials in PP 95% of which will be for export.

Since the foundation by the family group of Robert ABRAMS in 1999, this power increase is steady:” Last year, the Alsatian company made 200 million vials  (+40%); this year Capitol should reach 270 million” indicated André ERTZSCHEID, plant manager. The production at high speed of vials with integrated desiccant, absorbing humidity, makes of this company one of the world leader in its business.
Main customer base, the pharmaceutical industry takes 80% of the production; the rest goes for the diagnostic and the dairy laboratories. “95% of the sales are done out of
France” says the manager.
And the force of the group is precisely in its technological lead. The PP vials, with a usual look, are not only produced in one piece with the lid but are also a stuffed with innovations, all patented, to guarantee the sterility and the perfect tightness. The internal interactive layer allows absorbing humidity and gases.
